Kids Day & Bike Rodeo is held the 1^st Saturday in May from 9 AM – 2 PM

at Covington’s City Park and is open to kids of all ages.  Activities include face tattoos, petting zoo, games, dance shows, and lots of food.  Everything is provided free of charge!

An adult must accompany kids.

Kids Fishing Day - 3rd Saturday in April at Boys' Home

ages 6-15 - You must bring your own pole and bait - Lunch is served and prizes awarded.

9am-2pm - All Free of Charge.  An adult must accompany kids.

Pitch, Hit, & Run – Free national  baseball  competition for girls and boys ages 7-14 held in April each year.  Each participant has the opportunity to advance to the sectional level and then on to the team championship at the Washington Nationals Stadium.

NFL Pepsi - Punt, Pass & Kick competition is open to boys and girls ages 8-15.  This Free event is held in August of each year.  Each participant has the opportunity to advance to the sectional level and then on to the team championship at the Washington Redskins FedEx Stadium.
